So... we started a podcast.
It’s called Weird Hill to Die On. Yes, really.
For years, I’ve had a podcast in the back of my mind—something candid, thoughtful, unpolished, and a little bit unhinged. But it never felt like the right time.
There were always other projects, other callings, other fires to put out. And, to be honest, I wasn’t sure I wanted to add another voice to the noise.
But then two things happened:
I met cohosts who could hold truth and tension in the same sentence.
I realized we didn’t have to have it all figured out to invite people into the conversation.
So here we are.
Each week, I sit down with Adam Coleman and Phoenix Hayes to talk about faith, theology, apologetics, doubt, cultural chaos, and why Christians keep yelling at each other online. We don’t claim to have the final word, but we’re trying to model what it means to stay curious without losing conviction—and to hold unity without demanding uniformity.
You could call it apologetics-adjacent. Theologically rooted. A little seminary, a little therapy, a little group chat.
What it’s not:
A debate show
A pulpit
A perfectly packaged theology podcast
(If you're looking for “Five Points in 15 Minutes,” this ain’t it.)
What it is:
A table with open seats
A space for deep questions, minor rants, and shared laughter
A weird little hill we’re willing to die on… as long as snacks are allowed
Episode 1 is live now on YouTube and LibSyn.
We’re asking: Is apologetics noble or a waste of time—just another weird flex Christians cling to?

If you enjoy the episode—or if it makes you laugh, think, or mildly sweat—we’d love your support as we get this weird little thing off the ground:
Follow, like, subscribe, and share the show with someone who might need a seat at this table.
Reviews, reposts, and “hey-you-should-hear-this” texts make a huge difference in these early days.
We’re not aiming to go viral. We’re aiming to stay weird and keep the mic on. And we’d love to have you with us.

I love how Phoenix infuses her sense of humor into her apologetics, and I’ve admired your work from afar via Women In Apologetics. This is going to be fantastic.
